Soccer League

Soccer League
This year over 60 pupils from 3rd to 6th class took part in our lunch time soccer league. There were 6 teams and these teams were divided into two groups. Every team got to play two games and the top 4 teams went through to the semi-final.
The semi-finals and the finals were played on Sports Day and all the school went out to support the players. Team A and Team C got through to the finals. It was a very tight match with both teams playing exceptionally well. The score was tied at 1-1 until the final minute when Raimonds Sics scored a superb goal bringing his team to victory.
The soccer league was great fun. We got to practise our skills and play with children from other classes. I am looking forward to it again next year.
