Parents are the most important influence on their children. Staff in St. Edward's NS work closely with parents to provide the best opportunities for the pupils in the school.
At the beginning of the year meetings are held for parents of each class group, so that parents know what their children will learn and how they will learn in school.
Parents are asked to support their children doing homework.
In January of each year, Parent/Teacher meetings take place, when parents and teachers discuss children's progress in school.
If parents wish to speak with their child's teacher at other times, they should make an appointment by phoning the school on 9143480, so that the teacher can be available to meet them.
If parents have any concerns or worries about how their children are getting on, it is important to let teachers know.
