The HSA deals with educational, social and fundraising issues.
Since its formation in 2003, the HSA has been involved with safety issues and has successfully obtained a safe pedestrian crossing for our school.
In 2005 the HSA fundraised and contributed to a new Data Projector for the computer library.
In May 2005 the HSA organised a Sixties Fancy Dress Night in the Clarion Hotel to fundraise for educational equipment, and to provide an opportunity for fun. Jiving competitions and Best Dressed competitions were held.
In September 2006, the HSA purchased an Interactive Whiteboard for the school and is currently fundraising for another one.
The HSA organises Christmas and Easter events for the pupils.
They also fund First Communion and Confirmation celebrations.
They subsidise school tours so that all children can avail of educational outings.
Every year in June there is a Family Sponsored Walk. This year it concluded with a barbecue in Hazelwood.
The sponsored walk started from the school
It's good to be involved!
