Ag Súgradh Le Chéile

Some parents and children in the Infant Classes took part in the 'Ag Súgradh Le Chéile' programme on October 15. The programme is sponsored by the Health Promotion Department of the HSE and Sligo Sport and Recreation Partnership. The session was facilitated by Esther Mooney.

The emphasis of the Active Play workshop was to encourage parents to play actively with their children. A variety of activities and co-operative games were demonstrated and played.

The children had a great time and their verdict was that it was 'fun'. The programme provided lots of ideas for parents and showed that active games can be played without costing any money.
