We read a poem called "Dear Mum" by Brian Patten. It is about a child who gets up to mischief when his mum is out but doesn't take the blame. We made up our own poems. This is one that Courtney created.

Dear Babysitter
While you were gone
The glass mirror broke into pieces by magic.
Somehow your car window was broken.
I never discovered how the T.V fell down
from the wall.
By magic,
My fish were playing with my toys.
If you're looking for me
I'm with my Aunty.
