4th Class made Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

  • 125g softened butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/2 cup 110g caster sugar
  • 1/2 cup 110g firmly packed brown sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 3/4 cups (260g) sifted self-raising flour
  • 2/3 cup (130g) baking choc drops

Method
1. Beat butter, vanilla and sugars in a small bowl with an electric mixer or wooden spoon until the mixture is smooth.
2. Add one egg and mix it together.
3. Stir in the flour and remaining ingredients. Roll rounded teaspoons of mixture into balls.


4. Place balls about 4cm apart on a lightly buttered baking tray.
5. Place tray in moderate oven 160 celsius 325 Farenheit Gas Mark 3
6. Bake for 11-13 minutes or until golden brown.
7. Remove and cool on trays.
